"EL LIBRO DE SAN JOSE" Presented to Conference Speaker
In celebration of the 150th Anniversary Year of the Proclamation of St. Joseph as Patron of the Universal Church, by Blessed Pope Pius IX, the Fraternity of the Servants of St. Joseph of San Fernando, Spain, has been hosting a series of talks from world renowned Catholic speakers.
On the first day, speaker D. Carlos Maura Alarcón, Ph.D. in Art History, gave his talk on the evolution of St. Joseph iconography through the ages and the sociological influences.
Afterwards, senior fraternity member D. Alejandro Leiva Rosa presented a copy of EL LIBRO DE SAN JOSE (the Spanish edition of my book, The Book of Joseph), to D. Carlos Alarcón, which features an image of the fraternity’s Patron Statue of St. Joseph of San Fernando on its cover. The book was translated from English to Spanish by the generosity of Dolores Leal.
